This is a book in the Focus on the Family series.

Jacie Noland and her high school friends are busy growing up in this story of teen age friends. Jacie was an artist with natural talent who was eager to develop her skill but it was difficult for her to talk about her faith even when she needed to. Her friend Hannah always seemed to know the right words and be willing to say them. Jacie was discouraged at her inability with words so she painted her feelings. The picture was entered in an art show without Jacie’s knowledge. It created a sensation and was awarded the Grand Prize. At first Jacie was terribly hurt by having this picture exposed to everyone’s view, but then came understanding. Words are not the only means of communication. Although this was written for girls, it is a book anyone who likes teens could thoroughly enjoy.
